What does the Powerboat Race Day include?

Following registration, you will have an official welcome, a drivers briefing and an introduction to this fascinating sport. Then it's into the boats for your first session.

You will try three different types of powerboats in this day long event including Hydroplanes, Monohulls and Formula Four Catamarans, each capable of speeds of up to 65mph. At 6 inches off the water...65mph feels like 165mph! After a mornings practice, you will have one to one training in the afternoon whilst racing around a pre-marked circuit.

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day are included.

The activity takes place on about 10 selected weekday dates and 2 weekend dates from April to October.

Are there any restrictions?

Minimum age 14. Minimum height 5"/ Maximum height 6'2". Maximum weight 252lb / 112kg. Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness.
