Stop ordering take-away and impress your friends and loved ones by participating in your very own Saturday Morning Kitchen!

After a welcome soft drink, Dominique and Pat Chapman show the spices and flavourings needed, then they demonstrate a full Indian curry main course which will serve at least 6 people. This consists of Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Jalfrezi, Bombay Potato and Pullao Rice. They also make delicious Indian Breads, Chana Chat Salad and Tandoori Mint Raita. Everyone will get a taste of these dishes which you can eat there and then. During the demonstration, you may get to try your own skills as Pat will call for volunteers to help cook.

Are there any restrictions?

Cuts and abrasions must be properly covered to meet hygiene regulations. Any colds, stomach upsets, flu symptoms must be declared to meet hygiene regulations. Please advise any food allergies – gluten, nuts, shellfish, etc – at the time of booking your course. Please advise any lifestyle choices at time of booking – vegetarian, vegan, no pork, no red meat etc. There is no upper age limit. Serious young cooks (from 10 years upwards) will be accepted if accompanied by one parent. This course is suitable for a novice through to a ‘veteran’ cook! – Pat will adjust what is taught accordingly.
